17 killed in conflict between Taliban, group of armed males in Afghan province of Herat

Almost 17 individuals have been killed as clashes broke out between Taliban fighters and a gaggle of armed males within the western Afghan province of Herat. In keeping with a report with Sputnik, all victims, together with youngsters, died of gunshot wounds. 

“Immediately, the our bodies of 17 individuals, together with seven youngsters, three girls and 7 males, had been taken to a hospital within the province of Herat. All of them died from gunshot wounds,” the report quoted a supply as saying.

In keeping with the Afghan authorities, the Taliban carried out a particular operation in Herat on Sunday, towards native criminals concerned in kidnappings. 

At the least three of the criminals had been killed.

The Taliban got here to energy in Afghanistan after the seizure of the capital, Kabul, on August 15, which led to the collapse of the earlier authorities and triggered mass evacuations of overseas staff and Afghan collaborators.
