A complete procurement of 209.52 lakh tonnes of paddy has been made by the federal government thus far through the ongoing Kharif advertising season, which is price greater than Rs 41,066.80 crore.
The Kharif advertising season (KMS) 2021-22 runs from October to September.
In a press release issued by the meals ministry, it was knowledgeable that 209.52 lakh tonnes of paddy has been bought until November 8 through the ongoing Kharif advertising season.
Paddy has been procured from Chandigarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Telangana, Rajasthan, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Bihar, it mentioned.
“On account of which, about 11.57 lakh farmers have been benefited with a minimal help value or MSP worth of Rs 41,066.80 crore,” the assertion mentioned.
