Joined by her ever-present bodyguard, a makeup-free Katie Holmes was seen walking on the set of Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark in Melbourne, Australia today (July 8).

The 30-year-old actress showed up at about 9:30 am with daughter Suri and spent several hours running through scenes and finalizing the wardrobe for her character. The twosome headed back to Crown Towers about 2:00 pm with a nanny in tow.

While Katie will continue to work through the week on her upcoming thriller, hubby Tom Cruise is believed to have jetted out of the city yesterday. The Top Gun star will fly between the US and Aussieland while his wife completes her latest filming gig.
