Empire of the Sun to Broadcast Concert during Solar Eclipse 2009

Empire of the Sun will stream audio and video from their live performance during the solar eclipse on July 22nd, shortly after 8pm (PST). For 6 minutes and 39 seconds, fans can watch the broadcast on the website eclipseofthesun.org next Wednesday.

This type of live streaming is still young in the music industry, but Empire of the Sun is signed to EMI, so maybe we’ll see more bands from major labels do similar online events in the future. To view the broadcast, you must first subscribe to eclipseofthesun.org with an e-mail account to get a link to the live feed. Will you be watching the broadcast?
