This track appeared on Cassidy’s album “B.A.R.S.” (as ‘Celebrate‘), but here is the original version, which originally belonged to Common. Fact: Though this was a Billie Holiday joint, this particular song sampled Nina Simone’s version of “Strange Fruit“. Update: Not sure if it’s a Kanye beat though, because Devo did produce the other Common joint “Misunderstood” sampling Nina Simone. It says it’s Devo here. Who knows….I can’t find where I put my Cassidy cd. Ah well, spotted @ DdotOmen.
